The J.Cole and Diggy Beef Continues… Plus Tyrese Jumps In

So earlier this year news broke that rap protege Diggy Simmons and new Hip Hop phenom was engrossed is a simmering beef. Shortly after the Diggy Diss track leaked (which was supposedly in reponse to Cole discussing smashing Vanessa while they studied at St. Johns) the beef was rumored to be squashed. Fast foward a couple months and here we are again back at BEFF GROUND ZERO!

Over the weekend J.Cole got his panties in a bunch and decided to speak on Diggy during the North Carolina stop of BET’s Music Matters Tour.

‘Picture me hating on a young ni–a with talent
Album flopped, but it’s cool, he caked out on his allowance…’

Tyrese heard about the comment and swiftly took to twitter to defend diggy:

“Sh-t ain’t gonna fly no more…J Cole…Diggy is family…Sh-t ain’t flyin!

Ps..I’m grown….

All the while Diggy was readying a release of a J.Cole Diss Track that he premiered on The Breakfast Club

Don’t know how any grown rapper would consider me a subject
And I ain’t even got my first Benz sitting on dubs yet
I guess I rattled you, snaggletooth
You know better
Thought J stood for Jermaine, not Jet Setter
You seen me and shook my hand, coppin’ pleas in person
Now you whack, less than a man, mention me in verses.
You used to have dreams of my big sister kissin’ ya
now it’s nightmares of a lil’ brotha dissin’ ya.
Sneak disses and jabs, I don’t really see the benefit
But I guess you lame enough, probably keep you relevant
Maybe you should have signed with me, instead of Mr. Carter

He wrapped up the verse with the line:

‘This verse may as well be a hearse, Killed you and ain’t even curse, n-gga’.

This is all quite funny and ridiculous. If they were both on the same label, I’d call a conspiracy. Why is a 17 year old who grew up in the lap of luxury beefing with anyone? And why won’t J. Cole go and pick on someone his own size?
