Yet another DEATH rumor is running rapid through the internet, specifically on twitter. False reports claimed that rapper Ja Rule was killed in the early morning of today in a Jet Ski accident in Turks and Caicos. This rumor is clearing false because Ja Rule still remains imprisoned. He has been there since March 7, 2011. No way he could have been killed on vacation this morning. When I initially saw the reports I couldn’t help but think that Ja got into it in jail and loss his life there. But Rule is alive and WELL!!!! Don’t believe the hype yall!!!!
J.cole and Scott Baio were also killed off via the internet and similar stories this past year… I am just trying to figure out when we will be done with these senseless antics and disrespectful twitter deaths!!!
On July 31, 2011 Drake and his OVO team had their second annual OVO Fest in Toronto Canada. The Canadian native, Drake, brought out some big names including Rick Ross, Lil’ Wayne, J.Cole, Nas, and Stevie Wonder.
The concert was amazing and everyone looked like they were having a blast performing. Drake’s team did a good job getting all these entertainer’s in one room! I did notice there was an absence of female representatives…no Nicki?

Drake was looking scrumptious! I think I am warming up to his grown man/caveman look he has been trying to pull off!
If this is Cole’s first single it is definitely a good choice. Dudes lyrics are insane and his deliver is always on point. I wasn’t a believer until I listened to “The Come Up” and now with the release of more music, I am becoming a greater fan. These days, even though J.Cole’s success did not come as quickly as supposed Rap Savior “Drizzy Drake”, he is constantly compared to him. Honestly when I was told to listen to Cole’s music one of the first things my friend said was that after I listened I would Love Cole way more than Drake. Til this day I am still a ride or die Drake fan but Cole is definitely a close second…. And why should fans have to chose anyway. Both artist are great for Hip-Hop and different. I feel as though each is given something that the other is not and it WORKS!!!! I know everyone wants to know the clear first place person and who sits on top of it all but its not a bad thing to have a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and maybe even 5th place.. Keeps number one on their toes… Knowing that its qualified others fighting to be where you are…. #imjustsayin
Speaking of Drake and J.cole, Cole recently made a statement about the comparison Drake offered up linking him as being the present day Nas… Cause we all know that Drake marks himself the New Jay-Z…. Check out what Cole said:
“Comparisons are natural,” Cole told MTV News. “You’re going to compare LeBron to Jordan or [Dwyane] Wade to whoever you compare him to. But in this particular instance, and no disrespect to [Drake's] opinion, because that’s how he feels, but I feel like it’s too early.
“You can’t call things like that, that early,” he continued. “You can’t say I’m Nas because, look, Nas was in the game for 16 years. What if I’m not here next year? What if you’re not here next year? I don’t think you can say stuff like that this early, but I understand what people are saying. At his status right now, he’s the most talked-about guy in the game. The Nas comparison is like, ‘He gets a little bit beyond the surface,’ but I feel like when it comes to those comparisons, it’s way to early. And you never know, 10 years from now, I could be Jay.”
“What am I here for, I’m a man so I cannot let these tears fall” – J.ColeYou are here to MAKE IT J..And its about time that people are really starting to catch on. The Roc Nation rookie is on the “Green Issue” Of the Source which has an alternate cover with Wu-Tang. Shout Out To Kazeem and Source Mag this a Good Look!
It was not to long ago when a friend first put the J.Cole bug in my ear, forcing me to download his mixtapes and listen. That same friend swore that J.Cole was better than Drake…. I just choose not to compare because as it stands today I love the music of BOTH!!!! Making an appearance on BP3 solidified J.Coles skills for me… he killed “A Star is Born”.
If You haven’t already listened to any of J.Cole’s Music or just have no idea who he is .. Download the Warm-Up Below!!!
