Philly bred rapper Meek Mill is on an amazing high. With non stop hits on the radio, stirring up controversy with his hit song “Amen” and  being apart of one of hip hop’s biggest music label’s Maybach Music Group it looks like Meek Mill can only go up from here. Taking some time to snatch up a couple of magazine covers Meek Mill gave a hard core salute on the cover of The Source Aug/Sept issue. Inside the issue he talks about his upcoming debut album Dreams and Nightmares, as well gives a little bit of insight of the Drake and Chris Brown bottle throwing fiasco, check out the excerpts.

On his album

“It’s all about me thinking what type of first album am I gonna present to the people. [I got] something for the streets, the clubs, storytelling, soulful songs, deep songs.”

On the Drake/Chris Brown club hoopla

“I was there, and sh*t got real. I had nothing to do with it. I don’t have a problem with Drake….It was a lot of unknown guys throwing bottles.”
