… please say it aint so.. I was so sure that Tia and Pooch would pull a Brittany Daniels who was rumored to be just taking a break from the show and returning. I was ok with the idea of them leaving for season 6 and returning for season 7 but I am not sure I can deal with the idea that Melanie and Derwin will no longer exist… no guest appearances, no returns, WHAAAA!!!!! *Grabs inhaler… “I can’t breath”*

With Tia Mowry leaving the show, producers are looking for a new female actress to join the cast in the regular role of Kiera, a 20-year-old former child star who has been in the spotlight since she was five years old and starring on a “Cosby” style sitcom. According to the casting call, she’s bright and charming, but struggling into transitioning into a grown-up career.

Kiera isn’t the only newbie in town! Another series regular will be hired to play Bryce “The Blueprint” Westbook – a #1, Ivy League draft pick running back who breaks every “dumb athlete” stereotype. He’s not only got a Heisman Trophy, but he’s usually the smartest guy in the room — which sets his new teammates on edge.

I am one “The Game” fan that did not jump ship when the show came over to BET because I was just grateful to have it back! But this is getting to be to much.. At this point I would like John Singleton, Tyler Perry or Steve Harvey to step in and produce this story as movies once every two years and be done with it. Not really sure how successful the series will continue to be with such dramatic changes. Guess we will have to wait and see. Tell me what you think!
