Well it looks like Kenya Bell is taking her time to tell how she really feels about all the crazy shenanigans that took place during her first round season of Basketball Wives. Kenya Bell sat down with Juicy Magazine and discussed everything from her estranged husband wanting a piece of her check, Evelyn’s apology, andwhich castmates are trully neutral and more. Check out the excerpts below…
JUICY: What was your reaction to seeing Evelyn and Suzie plant dead fish in your room?
Kenya: The first day I arrived I didnt smell anyhting, but the next morning when I woke up I statred smelling a stench so I opened the windows and doors to the room. I caaled housekeeping and told them a animal must’ve crawled in the room and died. I searched the room and couldnt find anything. After the housekeepers left the smell went away. I ended upleaving the next day and didnt realize the girls put fish in my room until I left.
JUICY:Did you ever discover they were there?
Kenya: One of the natives on the island told me about the prank as I was leaving Tahiti. My response, “So that’s what that horrible ass smell was!” They are some childish ass bitches!
JUICY: Looking back at Evelyn’s apology, do you think it was sufficient to make up for the bottle thrown at you?
Kenya: I appreciate the fact that Evelyn was woman enough to apologize. I questioned the sincerity of it, but the fact remained that she did apologize so I had to take it at face value. To this day Evelyn and I are cool. Friends???? Not quite, obviously that’s going to take some work.
JUICY: What are your thoughts on Suzie and the role she’s played in all the girls’ relationships?
Kenya: Suzie is an instigator, she has her hand in every argument that occurred. I’m still trying to figure out why she hates me so much. I haven’t done anything to that darn girl. My advice to Suzie…. “Go find your life and stop wishing for cannibals to take mine.”
JUICY: Do you believe Shaunie and Tami were truly being neutral towards Jenn?
Kenya: I told Shaunie on the island, whatever problems you guys have with Jen are your problems with her, not mine. I don’t want to be in the middle of it unless I can help to solve it. Having an opinion on who’s neutral and who’s not is not helping to solve it so hey, I’ll let the viewers decide if Shaunie and Tami are neutral.
JUICY: I read recently that your husband is seeking spousal support based on your earnings from the show…is there any truth to this/would you like to clarify?
Kenya: It is true that he filed a motion for (alimony), yet hasn’t paid a penny in child support even though I have the children. Realize that at the beginning of our relationship, before he got to the NBA I helped to support him working as an engineer. I was literally “shooting in the gym” with him his entire career to help him make it, so it’s very sad & selfish that he would take that route. Keep in mind that he decided to file for divorce because of his issues, so to ask me for money is insane.
JUICY: Do you see yourself signing on to do another season?
Kenya: I have no idea if I will be back next year or not. There are alot of things about my life that the viewers havent seen. So if I do come back you’ll learn alot more about “crazy Kenya” haha.
