Kim Kardashian Should Keep Her Pretty Mouth Closed.

If you haven’t heard about Kim Kardashian’s resent interview with The Guardian you missed some intresting analogies from Ms. Kim. Let me break down a few of her statements.

The Interviewers provokes the conversation of why she is famous this is her response

“When I hear people say [what are you famous for?], I want to say, “what are you talking about?” I have a hit TV show. We’ve shot more episodes than I Love Lucy! We’ve been on the air longer than The Andy Griffith Show! I mean, these are iconic shows, so it blows my mind when people say that.”

Point taken, but those shows were iconic and the people on the show were displaying a talent. So is that justifies HOW you’re famous not WHY.

Her take on Hip Hop gets lost…

“When rap music first started, rappers were not respected and people thought it was just a fad. And people thought reality shows were going to come and go. They have taken over the soap operas. So it’s a modern version of a soap opera.”

Girl, tell me how that ending statement related to hip hop and its cultural impact on America [and the world] vs. how reality shows are new soap operas. One can assume she meant, people thought reality shows would be a “fad” such as hip hop. That’s my assumption, not really clear.
I got a little ‘tehehe’ out of this statement…
“What is my talent? Well, a bear can juggle and stand on a ball and he’s talented, but he’s not famous. Do you know what I mean?”
No.
Overall, the article was interesting because the interviewer did her research and did some background on Kim K as well as got her to talk about politics, selling sex, spin-off shows, and her mother working for her not the other way around…interesting. Go, ahead girl, I am not hating. Get it how it comes!
