Kanye West is apparently a “terrible celebrity.” During his performance at the Roseland Ballroom for the Adult Swim Upfront concert West gave a… heartfelt monologue of the sorts as to why he is not a great celebrity. In his close to hour long rant West stated, “One thing about me, I’m the worst kind of, celebrity because all I do is make real music. All I do is sit in the studio and make real, real (bleep). And that’s it.”

That is not all folks, apparently West does not want to do the skits alongside Ben Affleck on SNL this Saturday either. If you were hoping he would get in on the skits, you will be highly disappointed. He is supposed to be the musical guest on the shows season finale. During his performance he stated that a friend asked him to do the show to people his… humanistic side. Apparently West’s told the audience at his performance that, “I ain’t here to apologize to no mother (beep), man. It ain’t about me humanizing myself. At what point did I become un-human where I had to turn myself back? … Hell nah, I ain’t doing no mother (beep) ‘SNL’ skits; this my goddamn life. This ain’t no mother (beep) joke. That’s it. Stop that (beep) right there.”

West does want to do anything that would be considered a task of a “good celebrity.” He continued his rant stating, “I ain’t no mother (beep) celebrity. I ain’t running for office. I ain’t kissing nobody’s mother (beep) babies. I’d drop your baby and you’d sue me and (beep).” If that does not convince you to stay clear of Mr. West I don’t know what does. He is not happy right now and he wants the world to know it.

Well then Mr. W est, what is it that you want to do? West told the New York crowd that all he wants to do is, “[m]ake some music that inspires people to be the best they can be. I don’t want nobody to ask nothing else of me.” The crowd hears you loud-and-clear Kanye.
