Justin Bieber Charged with a Felony?
In a recent scandal, Justin Bieber has been charged with criminal vandalism for egging his neighbor’s home on Monday, June 16th. The pop artist allegedly caused approximately $20,000 in damages to the California home and can be facing time in jail.
Prior to this incident, Bieber has also been accused of snatching a phone from a fan and verbal abuse. The District Attorney did not find enough evidence to support these claims and cleared Bieber of the robbery charges. This time around, the D.A. has enough evidence to convict Bieber with a felony. If convicted, Bieber will be facing a possible sentence of one to three years, a $50,000 fee and probation.
TMZ has also posted a video, rumored to have been recorded during the incident. Although the visuals are sub par, viewers can hear the neighbor disputing with what is supposedly Justin Bieber’s voice. You can check out the video here.
Bieber’s attorney argued that the case should be handled as a misdemeanor since Bieber has no criminal record. Although the case is up in the air and there is no clear indication whether the D.A. will decide to charge Bieber with a felony or misdemeanor, the sheriff investigators are pushing for a felony charge.
