From Jenny from the block to American Idol judge. This fly girl has come a long way from dancing in leggings and combat boots on In Livin’ Color and made some major renovations to her wardrobe along the way. Still, as far as Ms. Lopez has come from her terrible white studded bandana phase, one lcould argue that the fashionista blossoming inside of her is still hardly given enough recognition.
J.Lo’s first major appearance in the fashion tabloids occurred after her skimpy green dress scandal at the Grammys in 2000. The chiffon dress by Versace plunged down past her belly button and incorporated a high slit that came up just below her genitals. Although the dress was RATHER revealing, it had full potential to make a great statement had it been a little more tamed. Since then Lopez has become rather well rounded in the fashion world, making a few “Best Dressed” lists and fabulously pulling together looks from designers such as her go-to-guy on and off the Red Carpet Versace by Donatella Versace, Zuhair Murad, Roberto Cavalli, and Gucci.
On the Red Carpet Jenny and her style team Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn have repeatedly turned heads in get ups that show off the singer/actress’s ability to be very versatile in her looks and her rock hard bod .
Even when she’s not in frocks showing off her smoking hot body (as rare as that seems), the 43 year old mother still manages to shut it down in less shapely attire such as this diamond encrusted tunic dress see here by Dolce and Gabbana.
Along with stopping the show on the Red Carpet, J.Lo’s eye-catching street style has also become a hot topic. Although the diva has been seen as “well dressed” for years now, she has just recently began to receive due recognition for her chameleon like style and ability to take any new trend and make it her own.
Keeping it classy, yet a little seductive, Lopez’s Latin flare makes her stand out in any outfit.
