Music mogul Jay-Z has plans to change the game, and change the game forever. As a part of the $56 million deal he recently put on the table, he took to a press conference in the Big Apple, to relaunch TIDAL, the streaming music service. He was not alone in this grand process as alongside him stood of course Beyoncé, Coldplay, Rihanna, Daft Punk, Alicia Keys, Calvin Harris, Jack White, Madonna, Usher, Arcade Fire and J. Cole who helped “turned the tide” and launch a service owned by artists. Not only is he offering artists more control over their own music, Jay-Z is offering millions and an equity stake to artists who join hands with him and TIDAL.
