Last night I had the pleasure of attending DTLR Style Lounge in promotion of BET’s Hip Hop Awards. The event was hosted by DMV’s part kingpin and Official Ciroc Boy DJ Quicksilva and Celebrity stylist Olori Swank. DTLR and BET treated D.C area socialites to manicures, massages, hair cuts and an open bar sponsored by Ciroc and Crown Royal. In addition to being able to enjoy the many amenities offered socialites like Naseya (seventhdistrict.com), Angel Elliot (BET), Ashley (IamSupergorge.com), Yodit (TalkofDC), Anwaa (Elite DC Mag) and Kheri (divastateofmind.com) were able to network amongst the D.C area young fashion elite, get stylist advice from Olori Swank, dance to the sounds of DJ Jay Claxton on the 1′s and 2′s and dine on complimentary appetizers. We were able to preview this years BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher’s which were absolutely amazing (definitely one of the best ever) and see a mini runway show put together by Olori herself! I must also mention how DJ Quicksilva kept the crowd entertained and interacting.
