The cast from the beloved 90’s tv show, Boy Meets World, reunited at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, TX. Cory, Shawn, Jack, Rachel, and other familiar faces from the cast were present, and answered fans’ questions at one of the events brought by the festival.

Fans of the show would also recognize Cory’s little sister on the show, Morgan, and Cory’s mother, Amy, along with the creator of the show, Michael Jacobs, who was also present at the festival. This was quite the sight for sore eyes, for the show was a mega-hit in the 90s and is still loved today as reruns continue to air.

Maitland Baxter, who played Rachel on the show, shared multiple pictures with old friends from the cast to the public. One of these was with Ben Savage, who played Cory Matthews in the show.

The cast is all grown up now but still carry that sense of nostalgia in carrying the image of their characters. Speaking of reunions and characters for Boy Meets World, Disney Channel is scheduling to release the pilot of their new show, Girl Meets World, this year. Girl Meets World is a spin-off of Boy Meets World  that will mainly focus on Cory and Topanga’s daughter Riley Matthews and her adventures in life. Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel are set to reprise their roles as Cory and Topanga while other familiar faces will be featured in the show.

“Believe me, people come up to me and say, ‘Please don’t ruin the show, don’t even do it!’ It’s something people are very concerned about, but we worked very diligently and were very careful to make sure it’s not something that ruins the legacy of Boy Meets World,” Savage told TVGuide.com at the ATX Festival. Disney seems to be going in the right direction with, Girl Meets World, bringing a beloved tv show to a new generation but only time will tell if the show will live up to the hype it is already receiving.
