During the recent catwalks in Europe you may have heard names and titles such as Ulyana Sergeenko, Irina Shayk, Anya Ziourova, Miroslava Duma, Russian Vogue. You may have also wondered, “are they all Russian?” Well you guessed right! Russia is once again creating a buzz in fashion circles with the help of a very talented group of young designers, stylists, journalists, bloggers and models.
Leading the pack is 32 year old Russian trendsetter and designer Ulyana Sergeenko, whose show was a sell-out in Paris. Foll0wing is model Irina Shayk –girlfriend of the footballer Cristiano Ronaldo –who is currently the country’s most famous model and works for brands such as Armani, Guess, Lacoste and Missoni.
