A Look into the Life’s Work of Jean Paul Gaultier

At the De Young Museum in San Francisco an exhibit featuring some of Jean Paul Gaultier‘s greatest work astonished each and every attendee as each garment was intricately designed. Each section of the exhibit showed collections from various times of his life: there were even pieces from his first ever collection.

His masterful and borderline weird couture collections used materials such as feathers, alligator skins and satin ribbons, and one piece even took as long as 1006 hours to be completed.
